Morgan was raised in her hometown by her mother who is a housewife, and her father who was a salesman – her interest in journalism was born at the age of eight when she started watching TV shows, mostly news, with her father and mother.

After matriculating from high school, Morgan enrolled at New York University, and graduated magna cum laude in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science, with a double concentration in anthropology and media studies.
Career as a reporter
Morgan launched her career as a reporter shortly after graduation, when she began working for Newsweek International – after her short venture with them, she worked with multiple other networks as a fact checker and a writer, mostly in the field of economics and business.
In 2009, she joined Forbes Media as a staff writer and a reporter, and has worked in several of their media fields such as “Forbes Magazine”, Forbes.com, and “Forbes Life Magazine” – she was also a producer for Forbes Video Network and could often be seen discussing business and finance on screen.
In 2013 she joined the CNBC channel, and became a general assignment reporter for them in Englewood Cliffs – today, she is the co-anchor of the “Squawk Alley” broadcast, live from the New York Stock Exchange.
Morgan has been featured on five magazine covers, through interviewing numerous billionaires, thought leaders, chief executives of some of the richest corporations in the world, and heads of state.
Love life and husband
Morgan met her other half Matthew Cacciotti while she was still studying at New York University – they began dating in 2006 and waited until they were both satisfied with their careers before marrying on 6 August 2011. Morgan gave birth to their child on 30 March 2016, but both Morgan and Matt try to keep their personal lives away from the media’s attention.
Shortly after graduating from college, Matt began working as a runner and a clerk at B + C Trading in June 2002 – he held the position until May 2003, took a year off, then joined S + B Trading in June 2004 where he worked as a clerk for a year. He became the president of MMC Trading in July 2005, which is a position he holds to this day. In June 2010, Matt founded and became the CEO of Gold Street Trading Ltd located in White Plains, New York, a ‘full-service introducing brokerage firm that provides clients with cost-effective clearing, price discovery, and productive order execution.’
Hobbies and other interests
Morgan grew up wanting to become a singer, a rock star to be precise, listening to bands such as AC/DC and The Scorpions –she had numerous of their posters on her bedroom walls as a teenager. She joined Sony Music Label after high school, and began working on an album but eventually gave up on it. She was also interested in archeology during her teenage years, and studied to become an archeologist, however, her plans changed while she was attending her senior year at high school.
Morgan’s main hobby is travelling and she has been all around the US with her husband, and visited several European countries, while Morgan’s dream travel destination is London, England. She is very keen on watching movies, and her favorite actor and actress are Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and Jennifer Aniston. Her favorite movies are “Jumanji” and the “Scary Movie” franchise.
