Is Bajaj Pulsar NS150 better than Pulsar AS150?

Bajaj Pulsar NS150 would be a better option than AS150 as it will use the same chassis, engine and components but would weigh less due to the lack of fairing, thus making it quicker in short sprints. It would be lighter by a good margin but will miss out on the projector headlamp. It would also cost a bit less than its cousin while the power values are expected to remain the same. Real life performance and mileage may vary in both the bikes.

What about the mileage of Bajaj Pulsar NS150?

The Bajaj Pulsar NS 150 is a much-awaited naked bike which will replace the aging Pulsar 150 DTS-i.Resembling the 200NS in design, the bike is powered by a 150cc engine which produces 16.8 BHP@ 9500 RPM and a peak torque of 13 NM @ 7000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gearbox. The mileage details of the Pulsar NS 150 aren't out yet, but we expect the mileage to be around 45 KMPL. The bike is expected to release this summer at a price of INR 78000.

The best bike out of all the above would be the Gixxer 155. It maintains a good balance between price as well as power output of a bike. The 154.9 cc engine is air-cooled and produces a max of 14.6 BHP and 14 NM of torque. It comes with an excellent body design, sharp tail light and edgy fuel tank. The gearbox used is a 5-speed manual unit and the bike comes with a wide 140/60-17 tyre for the rear. Gixxer 155 returns a mileage of 45 kmpl and comes with a price tag of INR 75,000.

The Honda Hornet 160R is a better option when compared to Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS. The bike comes with a better and sharp design. It also loads a fuel efficient and responsive 162.71 cc motor, sourced from the Honda CB Unicorn 160. The bike comes with a safer approach with its double disc brake arrangement and a Honda CBS, which enhances better braking by applying both the brakes at a single lever press. It is loaded with HET for better mileage and the bike comes with new and attractive alloy wheel design. The bike is expected to be here in the festive season and would be a better option than the Pulsar 150 NS.
